The 2016/17 season was a great one for AC Hoylake, with more teams taking part across all age groups, and an unprecedented number of cups won and trophies lifted.
And although there’s barely been time to catch breath since the end of the season, everyone at AC Hoylake is already working flat out to prepare for next season – and we could really do with YOUR help to make 2017/18 just as successful.
So, if you fancy volunteering in any capacity – anything from helping set up on matchdays to taking on a coaching role - or have any fundraising ideas that could help the club, we’d love to hear from you.

How are my annual subs spent?
At AC Hoylake, we just want as many kids to be able to play football as possible, and we certainly don’t want anyone to miss out for financial reasons – that’s why we try to keep our annual subs as low as we possibly can.
Subs for the 2017/18 season have been frozen once again at £153 per year, payable as one lump sum at the start of the season, or at £12.75 a month, preferably by direct debit, see link for details http://www.achoylake.com/news/subs-info-201718-1023996.html
So, how exactly are your annual subs spent?
38% - Winter training venues
18% - League fees, club insurance, utilities, affiliation, website, coaches’ education
19% - Pitch and refs fees
12% - Kit and equipment 12%
10% - Tournaments 10%
3% - Club funds 3%
As you can see, the vast majority of money that comes in, goes straight back out during the course of the season, with just a minimal amount going back to the club to be put aside for a rainy day.
And once all that is taken care of, we’re left with just enough to pay for our end of season awards ceremony, to see the kids rewarded for all their hard work and effort during the season.
So, if you have any fundraising ideas, we’d love you to share them with us – anything from bungee jump to a bake-off, if it can get more money in the club coffers, we’re all for it.
